In today’s fast-paced world, stress is almost a given, right? Between constant deadlines, overflowing to-do lists, and always feeling like you have to be productive, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. I know I’ve been there, where the stress seems unrelenting, and life just doesn’t feel as easy as it used to.

Recently, while chatting with a friend, I realized how simple and carefree things seemed when we were kids. We didn’t stress about work, responsibilities, or endless to-do lists. It was all just easier.

But, what if we could find that peace again, even as adults?

That’s when I came across Mindvalley Everyday Bliss, a course by Paul McKenna that promises to help you manage stress more effectively. Intrigued, I decided to dive in and see if this course could help me feel calm amidst the chaos.

Here’s my take on it.

Quick Summary: Everyday Bliss Mindvalley Review

everyday bliss homepage

Everyday Bliss is a course that helps you tackle stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. It’s created by Paul McKenna, who uses his expertise in hypnosis, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), and psychosensory techniques to teach you how to reprogram your brain and process stress in healthier ways.

The course is divided into four parts. It has 21 lessons. And the duration for the course is just 3 hours 32 minutes, which you can access as per your own comfort.

Instead of letting stress control your life, this course shows you how to embrace a state of calm and resilience.

The idea is simple, instead of letting stress control you, you’ll learn to embrace a calm, resilient state of mind that keeps you balanced, no matter what’s going on. It’s not about willpower or force, it’s about understanding and reprogramming how your brain reacts to stress.

If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s possible to feel at peace even on your busiest days, this course offers just that.

Things I didn’t Like

Initial learning curve: If you’re not familiar with hypnosis or NLP, some of the exercises may feel unusual at first.

Who is this Quest for?

Everyday Bliss is perfect for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious. It’s particularly helpful for professionals, entrepreneurs, or anyone dealing with high levels of pressure and looking to stay calm and focused.

If you often find yourself reacting impulsively to stress or emotional challenges, this course can help you regain control and build lasting emotional resilience. I honestly believe this course is for anyone who wants to feel more balanced, no matter what life throws their way.

What You’ll Learn

Paul McKenna walks you through a series of techniques that can help you process and release stress in a healthier way.

So Everyday Bliss by Paul McKenna is divided into four parts with 21 videos.

The first part, with three videos, introduces and prepares you for the journey.

The second part, consisting of seven videos, focuses on beating stress, providing techniques to address anxiety and other challenges.

The third part, also with seven videos, helps you reinterpret the causes of your stress.

Finally, the fourth part, with the remaining videos, is dedicated to raising your resilience, boosting confidence, and offering motivation, helping you see a clear before-and-after transformation.

I’ve had a mix of experiences with the techniques Paul McKenna shares for managing stress, and here’s how they worked for me:

The Hypnotic Trance: It was probably one of the most powerful techniques. At first, I had a bit of trouble relaxing enough to get into the trance, but once I got the hang of it, it became a go-to for deep relaxation.

Heart Brain Exercise: It was simple and quick, and whenever I was feeling overwhelmed, this exercise helped me calm down and refocus. It’s easy to do on the spot, and I’ve found it to be a perfect tool when things get hectic.

Systematic Relaxation Technique: It’s a short, effective method that I could fit into my day without much effort. Whenever I felt overwhelmed, I turned to the Systematic Relaxation Technique. The best part was that I could do it on the spot, no matter where I was or how hectic things were. It was easy, effective, and made a big difference in how I handled my day.

TFT (Tapping): A quick way to reduce feelings of anxiety or unhappiness. Although I felt a little awkward at first, especially when tapping in public, I got over that quickly when I saw how much it helped in reducing tension and boosting my mood.

Havening Technique: So it’s a psychosensory method that uses touch and eye movement to reset your brain’s stress response. It was a little difficult for me, the touch-and-eye movement combo felt strange, and I struggled with sticking to it in stressful moments. It took a little practice.

Reinterpreting Stress Causes: This technique helped me see stressful situations in a completely new light. It wasn’t always easy to shift my mindset in the middle of a stressful moment, but with practice, it became more natural.

What Practical Results Should You Expect?

You should start seeing a shift in how you handle stress fairly quickly. For example, I’ve noticed that when stressful situations arise now, I don’t immediately feel overwhelmed or panicked. Instead, I’m able to stay calm and process the situation more effectively.

As you practice these techniques over time, you’ll likely feel more balanced, resilient, and clear-headed, no matter how busy or chaotic your day gets. I’ve found that I’m also able to stay motivated and focused on tasks, even when they seem like a lot.
