Microsoft has launched Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge 2023 edition. It is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about Microsoft cloud technologies.

If you successfully complete a challenge, you have an opportunity to win a VIP event pass for the next Microsoft Ignite or Microsoft Build event.

There are 12 challenges available to choose from, select one that’s right for you. Once you complete that challenge you will also earn a free Microsoft digital badge.

The challenge ends on January 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM UTC (16:00). Make sure all modules in your challenge are complete before time runs out.

How the Challenge Works

Step 1: Pick a challenge and complete it.

Step 2: You will get an entry to sweepstakes. The more challenges you complete, more entries you win to the sweepstakes.

Step 3: Sit back and wait for the Microsoft Ignite 2023 sweepstakes winners list announcement. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive the grand prize.

All these are simple challenges focussed on learning about cloud technology and AI. You can complete any one or all of them out of your interest.

Important Details

  • The Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge 2023 starts on November 15, 2023, at 4:00 PM (16:00) UTC and ends on January 15, 2024, at 4:00 PM (16:00) UTC.
  • You are required to provide an email address during registration for the Microsoft Learn Cloud Skills Challenge 2023. You will be contacted via the email address you provide with all the details.
  • You will receive one entry to the Sweepstakes for each Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge you complete.
  • You can register 12 entries (max) by completing all the challenges to improve your chances to win the prize.

Complete your first Microsoft ignite cloud skills challenge, and you get a cool digital badge!

It’s like a pat on the back for trying, and it’ll look good on your LinkedIn profile.

Note that anyone who completes at least one challenge is eligible to receive the badge.

Microsoft will be running a sweepstakes to select five lucky winners.

If it’s your time, you could win a free ticket to either Microsoft Build 2024 or Microsoft Ignite 2024 (your choice!). That’s like getting $1,895 worth of tech conference fun for free!

  3. Choose a challenge (out of 12), and click on “Go to challenge”.
  4. Start your challenge. Complete all the modules and assessments (if any).

After you complete a challenge, you will receive a confirmation email from Microsoft about your sweepstakes entry.
