Microsoft Azure Developer League 2021 2024 April

Microsoft is conducting Azure Developer League, which is a gamified, self-paced technical upskilling challenge built on top of Microsoft Learn through which you can advance your career, earn recognition, and validate your technical knowledge for current and future industry job-roles.

Develop in-demand technical skills on AI, DevOps, IoT, Security, Cloud Native, Kubernetes and take the next step in becoming a subject matter expert.

About Microsoft Azure Developer League:

Participants have to register for the program and compete between March 02, 2021 until May 31, 2021.
At different stages of the competition, you also stand a chance to win exclusive collectibles, free exam vouchers, surface devices, cool swag including gaming consoles and a cash prize.
The program is divided into three (3) rounds.
In Round 1 – the participants have to complete the learning modules under “cloud skills challenge.”
In Round 2 – the participants will choose any one of the Hackathon problems statements and hack on it.
Winners of Round 2 will compete in the final round which is a quiz challenge based on the learning modules of cloud skills challenge.

Round 1 - Cloud Skill Challenge

The Cloud Skills Challenge is hosted on Microsoft Learn, which provides free, interactive learning through a combination of bite-sized tutorials, browser-based coding/scripting environments, and task-based badges and trophies.

Get started in 4 easy steps:

Step 1: Sign up for the Azure Developer League program

Upon submission of the form, you will be redirected to the cloud skills challenge page.

Step 2: Add yourself to the leaderboard by joining any one of the given challenges.

Step 3: Start your learning journey.

Complete all modules within your selected challenge.
Use the leaderboard specific to your challenge to track your progress of the required modules.

Step 4: Update your LinkedIn skills and earn bragging rights.

Once you complete your first Azure Developer League challenge, update your Azure skills on LinkedIn and share your LinkedIn url here for a chance to enter the monthly sweepstake.

All valid entries qualify for the monthly sweepstake for a chance to win either one of the Surface Go devices, limited-edition Azure League jersey, free exam vouchers.

Round 2 - Hackathon

Round Two in the League is a Hackathon Challenge. With a digital competition experience you can compete to build purposeful solutions from anywhere, for everywhere!
Join the community of peers who share your vision. You could find future business partners, meet friends for life, and get inspired by others’ solutions.
There are cash prizes worth USD 15K and an opportunity to collaborate with industry partners on future projects or host your own session at Microsoft virtual event.
Plus, a chance to own an exclusive Azure Developer League Jersey and cool spot awards including gaming console and smart watches.

Round 3 - Quiz Challenge

The Grand Finale of the Azure Developer League is a game of wit and knowledge.

The winning teams of the Hackathon Challenge will compete in a live Quiz Contest to take home the Azure Developer League Gold Medal and the coveted Azure Developer League Champions Jersey.
